My name is Coach Jonathan Wong, and I know how fun competing and winning is.
I have always like playing sports, I have competed in sports such as Basketball, Softball, Rugby, American Football and Strongman.
But as a child, even though I was good at throwing and catching and had decent coordination, I had a problem.
I was FAT! And I was SLOW!
I realized that this lack of physical ability was holding me back from being the best possible athlete that I could be.
From that time onwards, I have spent thousands of hours studying, practicing, leaning, teaching and traveling more than 1000 hours so far to meet the best in the world in sports training. In fact I have spend not just time, but more than 100,000 dollars on education, internships and seminars.
All so that I could find out exactly how professional athletes and Olympic champions train, and so that I can use the most effective methods in training my athletes clients.
I Have Tried Almost Every Training Program, And Exercise Gadget Out There
- I have used gadgets and TV infomercial products – These were simply scams that ended up as expensive coat hangars.
- I have tried different training programs from many so called experts – Some worked, some did not, but with these mistakes and experiences, I will teach you exactly what will work for your body type and for your genetics. I will customize your program for you.
- I have tried all kinds of nutrition plans and diets – High carbohydrate, low carbohydrate, high calorie, low calorie, high protein, low protein, high fat, low fat, carb cycling, and many more. I have tried them all and have come to the conclusion that what works for somebody may not work for you or me or anybody else! This is why I customize each nutrition plan for every athlete client.
- I have spent and wasted literally years of time making mistakes and learning from them. Sometimes I felt discouraged and upset that hours of hard training gave no result. Reason #1: The many gimmicks that claim to improve your performance cannot deliver on their promises because they are not science based! The only piece of “equipment” that guarantees that you get better results is YOUR BODY! Not the new shoes, not the latest racquet or club and not the latest “energy drink”. Only by improving YOU the ATHLETE, will your performance improve consistently. And that I what I will help you do.
Reason #2: Most athletes train the wrong way. There are too many training programs out there designed by trainers who want to entertain their clients with circus style balancing acts, rather than proper training. They have no plan, no system, no progression, no guidance and no results. This leads to many athletes wasting hundreds of hours in useless training, just like I did when I first started.
Reason #3: Most coaches don’t know what it is like to perform at a high level. You need a coach who at least, at one point in their life, was able to perform at, or close to the level that you want to achieve. Want to jump 300cm in the broad jump? Want to run the famous 40 yard dash in 4.5 seconds? Want to squat 200kg? You should never listen to a coach who only operates a whistle loudspeaker and stop watch.
Reason #4: Most training locations don’t have the environment to help you excel. How are you going to get fast, lean and strong when everybody else is on the treadmill or stationary bike reading the latest issue of an entertainment magazine. How are you going to learn to train hard when other clients complain if you lift heavy weights or use chalk? Just before you think I am a super talented genetic freak, think again… I was a regular, tubby guy who happened to enjoy playing sports but was never able to perform at the top level when I was younger.
There were so many athletes all through my primary, and secondary school days who were so far superior to me. I actually found it hard to believe that I could one day match their performances.
But it happened. I not only matched them, but surpassed them by far – That’s me easily clearing a 152cm/60inch high hurdle in the picture…not bad for a former fat boy!
Perseverance, study and hard work paid off!

How do I get clients such results?
With so many athletes in Singapore training ineffectively, I decided that I was time to do start a coaching company that uses only the most effective performance boosting methods in the world.
I love helping others achieve the same results as I have. When my clients tell me how they dominated their competition, how they are less sore after games, how they set personal best times or how they passed the IPPT test for the first time in years, it thrills me to the core.

Joshua Tham – “Strength Improvement In All My Lifts”
I embarked on a mission to become a lean mean fighting machine. A close friend of mine introduced me to coach Jonathan and his staff.
I started of with a capability of 12 chin ups, and at the end of the 5 week program, was able to do 19 with a I rep max of body weight plus 36kg.
I was also able to lift 125kg and squat 110kg. this left me feeling much stronger and more powerful.
The 5 weeks program allowed me to gain 5kg of muscle. The program also taught me a lot of new techniques and corrected a lot of misconceptions I had about the physiology of the body and helped me to realize the correct way to a Spartan body.

I previously had really terrible ankle and hip mobility. I had a history of leg injuries and a lifestyle that did not encourage correct movement and posture contributed to my extremely poor lower body flexibility.
These problems made many physical activates like golf which I love, difficult and un-enjoyable.
After several disappointing visits to various physiotherapists, Coach Jonathan and his staff helped me regain mobility and function in my body. All this took only 4 short weeks, I am now performing all athletic movements with the proper technique and form that I now know that I should have had ages ago!

Wong Zhi Min, Singapore Armed Forces – SBJ and IPPT
Zhi Min was a guy who had never passed his standing Broad Jump (SBJ) segment of the IPPT test before even though he did well in other stations. He came to us with 4 weeks to go before his IPPT test. With proper training, correct practice, and increases in strength and technique, Zhi Min did very well and went from a FAIL to a SILVER standard in just 4 weeks.

I am the kind of guy who was not naturally “bouncy” or fast. In fact in my early secondary school days, I was one of the least athletic members of my school’s basketball team.
But after training at the Genesis Gym, I achieved a very good Standing Broad Jump of 270cm. That is a good result even for a naturally athletic person! It was a MASSIVE increase of 50cm over my previous best of 220cm.

Kin Ying Training Hard At Genesis
Lee Kin Ying – “I Passed My IPPT Standing Broad Jump (SBJ) For The First Time!”
The Genesis Gym is THE premier fitness and conditioning center. I had signed up to improve my Standing Broad Jump. I have never done well in SBJ ever before. Despite a lot of effort on my own, I only managed a poor jumping distance of 180cm despite a lot of wasted effort.
But with the correct training and jumping techniques taught at the Genesis Gym, I improved to 216cm at the end of my training program just 3 months later. 36cm improvement in 12 weeks was really great after YEARS of frustration.
Another great thing is that I also became leaner, more muscular and improved my posture, strength and appearance all at the same time. All this while training less than 4 hours per week.
