Sure, self made fruit juice is better than store bought where you don't control the nutrients. But why not just eat the fruit? Fructose tolerance is different for different people. A fat weak person may handle only 5g/day... while a full time athlete may handle 30g/day.

Fruits juice I can agreed with you that has high sugar but NOT LOW in Fibre. To get more out of drinking fruits juice I suggest use (buy own) blender to blend your fruits instead of using Juicer machine. Blender will retained all your fruits skins (apple) and the real fibres unlike juicer machine it only gives you the fruits juice minus the skin and the real fibres. I used Blender (Kitchen Aid)) to blend my frutis of carrots & apples to drink it with the fibres every morning before having breakfast, so I get to drink the real carrots & apples juice with fibres. Where else if you use juicer machine like those fruit stall-holders you'll get only to drink the juice minus the real fruits fibres because juicer machine retained the fruits fibres and only juice out the juice. Actually fruits contains natural sugar which is also good for our body health and needs to give us energy. Please note that I am not a nutritionist or a medical doctor to comment on it but it is my views and own experienced from drinking it for many years and still give me good health till present age of 60. Cheers! Henry Koh

Is it less bad than regular coke? Probably.
But it still has stuff that damages your digestive tract... get a water filter and drink water.

You are getting the fructose still... and no fiber. Fructose is not a good thing to have by itself. It causes glycation with accelerates aging.

Hi Jon,

How about self-prepared orange juice without added sugar? After all, we don't eat the skin of the orange when we eat the fruit.
