Elbow pain is fairly common among people who lift weights hard, and/or practice their sports hard. Tennis, golf, and other racket sports cause pain to the elbow either on the inside and the outside.
Soft tissue work on the triceps, pronator teres, and other small muscles of the arms helps alot. The pronator teres in particular can cause nerve impingement and elbow pain especially during chinups (palms facing you).
What also helps alot is grip training. I have had elbow pain after heavy chinup workouts for 2-3 months, but with all the grip training I have been doing lately, its totally gone.
